Original 70s prairie dress in a vivid yellow and orange floral print. Beautiful soft woven cotton, gorgeous rich dye. Historical inspired silhouette with a pintucked bodice with lace trimmed v-neck. Bishop sleeve with slightly puffed shoulders and snug fitting buttoned cuffs. Softly fitted waist with skirt sewn in narrow gathers giving it a soft fullness. Back metal zipper to fasten.
Dress is unlabeled, but I'm pretty certain that this is a Laura Ashley, made in Wales, dress which has had the neckline altered. There are some dresses in the identical print but different colourway coming up labeled LA online and the pintucked bodice and lace trims, and also the quality and dye of the cotton look like Laura Ashley's 70s dresses. I'm suspecting this may have originally had a standing Victorian style neckline which has been altered into a V-neck but is otherwise unchanged, however unlabeled.

CONDITION
Good condition.
-Some small marks, hides pretty well in the print.
-Neckline has been altered. I think this would have originally had a high standing Victorian style neck, which has been altered into a high v-neck with the original lace trim added. There is a small section to the back of the neck, where the crochet lace is very slightly different, but this hardly shows when worn.
