Bold and vibrant Welsh Woollens tapestry cape in a rich red shade with a modernist patterning in black, white and blue. Cape fastens with four large black shank buttons to the side of the neck and a small hidden popper fastener to the collar. It has pockets on the front panel below the waist and open slits for the arms. Missing the original matching belt but looks great with a plain black leather belt. Lined in a lightweight deep brown/aubergine acetate. Pure wool outer. Approx 70s era.
Not labeled with a size but fits approx like a M-L, I think this could suit anywhere from a UK12 to a UK16.
Coat is 30" long.
Approx 56" around the front/bust
Approx 17-18" from shoulder to shoulder
-There are some slight yellow mottling to a couple of the white patterns, but this is not very noticeable when worn.
-The lining shows some very slight sun lightening along the bottom edge and inside collar and has a couple of tiny holes near the hem, but all in all still very good, and this of course can't be seen when worn.
-Missing the original belt (but easily replaced with a plain black leather belt).
