Stunning brown rayon crepe party dress from the 1940s scattered all over with a lavish amount of silver rhinestone studs. These flock around the waist and spread out into looser pattern over the top of the shoulders and lower skirt. Beautiful fit with v-neck edged with rhinestones and short sleeves. Small pleat sewn into the shoulder seam to create that soft 40s draping. Fitted waist and flared a-line skirt cut on the bias. Side metal zipper to fasten. No labels. This is so gorgeous and decadent and what a sparkle!

CONDITION
Very wearable but a bit of a wounded bird and priced to reflect.
-Hem has been altered and is handsewn. It's not perfectly even.
-There also some small seam reapairs, one on the top of the zip and one at the bottom of the zip and one to the shoulder seam, nothing noticeable when worn.
-One small patched hole under the arm and a small slightly wonky rhinestone on the same sleeve.
-This has fair bit of reddish discolouration to the brown, see photos. The studio lights really highlights this, but it is less noticeable in real life, and some of it hides the drapes of the skirt, but it's not invisible.
-Some tiny snags in the crepe. And some slight wear around the rhinestones in a few places, though this is large just noticeble when the fabric is held to the light.
-Slight discolouration to the inside of neckline and inside sleeves, but this isn't noticeable when worn. A couple of small smudges on the skirt and some slight marks to the dip of the v-neck. See photos. I've not had this dry cleaned.
All in all still presents beautifully.
