1950s dress in a soft beige colour with a vivid print of flowers in orange and red with budding leaves in green. Beautiful cut with v-neck design and small tie straps on the shoulders creating soft gathers to the straps and bodice. Bodice is bias cut with a central front seam. Waistline nips in and there is a small dropped waistband below which gathers to the hips and back to give fullness to the skirt. Fabric has a slightly silky/sheen-y texture and feels like viscose. Back metal zipper to fasten. Label is Jean Jaques Bidel.
Dress is pictured with a petticoat which is not included in the sale.
The dress is not labeled with a size but fits approx like a Small. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.
Chest: 36" but this is bias cut so does have give to about 38" (pictured unpinned on 35-36" chest model)
Upper Hip (3.5" down from waistband): 31"
Shoulder to waist: 15"
(There is a 1" hem on this)
Good condition with some tiny signs of wear. Small fray at the top of the zipper, see last photo. The dip of the v-neck had come unstitched and has been resewn back up to it's original fit.
