Utterly exquisite beautifully made 50s party dress in a light olive green with a velvet bodice and swishy sheen light taffeta type skirt. The bodice is sewn in Medieval inspired panels with top sewn bands vertically to the bust and horizontally across the waist. These even have a small piping of the skirt fabric sewn into each band - I love this attention to detail. Deep scooped U-neck to front and back and short sleeves. Fitted empire underbust and wide cinching waistband. Skirt is sewn very neatly in tiny pleats to the waistband with a big swooshy fullness. It's unlined, and would wear really well over a petticoat. Back metal zipper to fasten. Label is Tailored Junior, but the fit is a standard woman's length, not petite. It's gorgeous and so beautifully made. Wears well as evening/cocktail wear, but I could totally see this worn casually too.
