Beautiful early 50s coat in a lovely brown and green striped wool. Love a striped coat, such a lovely touch and the green and brown is such a fab Art Deco palette. Single breasted cut with a big shank button to the neck and a smaller matching 2hole button to the waistband. Big shawl collar with v-neck. Padded shoulder with long sleeve and turn up cuffs. Waist is softly fitted and comes with a matching buckled belt. Silhouette is softly skirted, a gentle princess fit and flare design with slot pockets on the hip. No makers labels. Lined in brown synthetic.

CONDITION
Good condition.
-Externally very good, only one small darn just below the collar. Some tiny spots here and there that have some slight loss of the wool fuzz, but nothing you would really notice.
-Belt buckle fabric has worn off slightly to the corners, and two belt hole eyelets are missing.
-Lining is still intact and very wearable, but does have some small mottling marks to the lower part and a couple of small patched holes and a small reinforcing stripe in matching material added to the back of the neck. Slight wear to lining at cuffs, nothing major.
-May have been rehemmed, hem is handsewn and there is a running stitch to the lining hem.
