50s VERNER VOGUE DOVE GREY FIT AND FLARE PRINCESS COAT - S
Beautiful fit and flare 50s coat by Verner Vogue. Lovely dove green light wool gab, with a mauve/pale purple lining in shiny rayon. Single breasted fit with seven small covered buttons to the front and a slit collarless neckline. Padded shoulder and long wide fitting sleeve with turn up cuffs. Elegant fit and flare silhouette with a full skirt and neat sewn in pleats to create a shallow pocket in the front hip seams. Lighter weight coat, not a full winter coat, but a perfect transitional piece, of as a dress coat. NB. Coat is labeled "petite" but seems to fit a regular size, it's not short fitting.

The coat is not labeled with a size but fits approx like a Small. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.
Fit on model: Slightly clipped in waist.
Chest: 36" (best fit approx 34" or slightly less depending on what you want to layer with)

CONDITION
Good condition. Has some small signs of wear.
-There are some tiny pin holes and minor scuffs in the wool, see photos.
-And there are also some light marks: one smudge on the placket, one on the sleeve and a small spot on the side of the hip. There is also some streaks on the back of the skirt. I've cleaned this and these have not lifted.
-Lining is intact, no structural damage, just some light wear and some minor marks. Lining hem has been taken up.
Priced to reflect, but this is a really lovely, and still presents very nicely.
