Striking 50s true princess coat in black wool. This has a black light rayon lining which is backed with an insulating felt like gauze covered lining, which gives this quite a bit of added warmth. Elegant fitted silhouette with a high collared neck and single breasted cut with six buttons to the chest. Long sleeve with padded shoulder and turn up cuffs. Waist is darted in for a fitted silhouette and flares out into a full sweep. Slot pockets on the hip. Skirt is very full and has an added faux fur trim around the bottom. It's a beautiful weighty coat, gloriously gothic and swishy to wear. No labels.

CONDITION
Good condition.
-There are some visible repairs around the pocket corners, where fabric had torn. See photos. Also slight internal repair to the waist darts, also show, but this isn't really that noticeable when worn.
-One area of rubbing wear at the back of the sleeve, see photo.
-Very slight signs of repair to a couple of the button holes.
-A small area of tiny holes in the wool near the hem and one on the sleeve, both areas shown in photos.
-Lining is good and wearable but has some very small signs of fraying to the rayon under the arms.
