Lighter weight wool and acrylic blend midi cape from the 70s in deep shades of dusky blue with a vertical stripe pattern. Cape fastens with five chunky vinyl covered shank buttons to the side of the neck and has open arm slits all the way from the hem up to the bust. The free fitting front panel can be cinched in with a belt, which gives this coat a definition and fit, whilst also retaining the free flowying cape at the back. Lined in mauve acetate. Missing its original belt, but this is easily replaced with a plain cinch belt or even sash tie. Approx 70s era. No labels.
Not labeled with a size but fits approx like a L, I think this could suit anywhere from a UK12 to a UK16. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.
Fit on model: as shown
Coat is 43" long.
Approx 58" around the front/bust - I would estimate to best fit a 38-40” bust
Front panel measures 18.5" across from arm opening to arm opening
Approx 17" from shoulder to shoulder
Very good condition. Small paint scuff on one of the buttons. A couple of tiny pin holes to the lining and some slight discolouration, but this can't be seen when worn.
