Vintage evening tails tailcoat in black fine wool with peaked texuted lapel and open cut front with three decorative diagonal buttons to either side of the chest. Padded shoulder and long sleeve with four smaller buttons to the cuffs. Cropped waist length in front and a long slit tail to the back. Fully lined in black satin with white sleeve lining. One slot pocket to the inside of the bust. Outer fabric feels like a suitweight-wool. No makers labels. As it is a traditionally tailor made piece, not easy to date, internally lining largely handsewn. Definitely vintage, but hard to day, would estimate maybe 60s era. Beautifully tailored and a great smaller size.

The coat is not labeled with a size but fits approx like a Small to Medium depending on desired fit, I would estimate for a UK10 to a UK12. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.

CONDITION
Very good condition. One of the back buttons have been replaced, closely matched so hardly shows. Lining to the sleeves, mainly to the shoulders, has discolouration. A couple of tiny scuffs in the wool. One of the back button is very very very slightly different than the other.
