40s black crepe dress which could be worn as a longline blouse or mini dress. Fitted bodice with v-neckline and short sleeves. Side of the bodice has been embellished with hand painted gold bows, adorned with little blue glass beads and the edges finished with deep gold bugle beads. Waist is fitted and fastens up the side with a side metal zipper. Skirt has been shortened and sits mid thigh.
The dress is not labeled with a size but fits approx like a Medium. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.
Shoulder to waist: 14"
Shoulder seam to shoulder seam: 14"
(There is a very short rolled hem on this so it can not be let down further)
Good condition but this has obviously and sadly been shortened. It still makes for a sweet if a little anachronistic mini dress, or you can wear it as a longline blouse or over dress. It would look good worn under a skirt or over a longer black dress. I think it is also possible that the sleeves have been shortened from a longer length as the rolled cuff hem looks very similar to the skirt hem.
-Has been cleaned but some faint smudges to the back hem remains, though not very noticeable when worn.
-Hemline is a slight bit uneven, I'd say the discrepency varies between 0.5-1" max.
Priced accordingly and sold as is.
