Lovely 40s button through tea dress in a soft pink colour with a vivid floral print in green, blue and burgundy. Button all the way through the front in small pairs of donut shaped mauve buttons. Short sleeve with turn up cuff and padded shoulder. Collared neckline with squarish front. Waistline nips in and skirt falls in wide pleats for a soft fullness. Fabric feels like a soft burshed rayon, not dissimilar from the weight and feel of cotton, just a bit softer. No labels.
The dress is not labeled with a size but fits approx like a S-M. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.
Chest: 38" (best fit smaller, would advice for 35-36" chest max)
Shoulder to waist: 15.5"
Shoulder seam to shoulder seam: 15"
(There is a 1" hem on this)
Good condition. Some light signs of wear including some small scuffs and at the waistband by the side seams, I think this was maybe taken in and the let back out at the waist, hence these small areas of wear where the old seam was, see photos. Quite slight and definitely wouldn't detract when worn. Some signs of internal seam repairs, not visible when worn, and as inside seams aren't overlocked some light fraying to edges inside, again not visible on the outside when worn.
