Stunning 30s/40s black crepe dress. Elegant design with beading to the neckline and around the peplum skirt around the front hip. Loose fitted bodice with a square neckline trimmed in orange, with two stitched pleats to the corner of each side of the neck, giving a draped fullness to the bust. Long sleeves with short v-slit to the cuff. Waist is loosely fitted and comes with a spectacular belt with a huge circular colourful buckle. Long (not quite floor length, but mid-calf/ankle length depending on your length) skirt with a soft fullness to it. No fasteners, dress pulls over the head. No makers labels.
Not labeled with a size but fits approx an Medium to Large. No fasteners, dress pulls over the head so I would err on the side of caution with the measurements.
Waist: 34" (easily belted in smaller)
Shoulder seam to waistband: 16"
14" shoulder seam to shoulder seam
Very good condition.
-Some tiny and very faint little spots on the crepe in a couple of places, but these are not very noticeable when worn (the bright lights and reflectiveness in the camera brings these out a bit more in the photos, but in natural day light I think these are pretty negligable.)
-I'm not sure the buckle is original to the dress, it could be, either way it goes very nicely with it. There are currently only to belt holes in it, and these are at a very loose setting so you might want to add a belt hole at your prefered size, to cinch the belt in a bit more.
