Deep blue 50s swimsuit in cotton. Sweetheart bust with boning internally and a ruched off-white band to the top of the bust. Boning gives a quite strong bust shape, slight bullet effect, it's lined internally but not padded or wired otherwise. Low cut hip with double layered tummy panel. Back is competely shirred. Straps button on to the inside of the front to be worn halter style. No labels.
The swimsuit is labeled a size OS (one size??), but fits approx like a modern day Small, approx a UK10 though may fit a small UK12, so depends on desired fit, but please refer to the measurements. Please note this fits best quite stretched so would best suit someone inbetween the unstretched and max stretched measurements, tightness will depend slightly on how stretched this is.
Chest: 28" unstretched to 36" max stretched
Waist: 22" unstretched, stretches to approx 30"
Hip: 30" unstretched to approx 39" stretched
Length: 24" approx from top of bust to gusset
Good wearable condition with some visible wear.
-The white ruched band to the bust is a bit less bright white as I imagine it would have originally been.
-Shirring works fine as is, you can see internally there are some small popped areas to the elastic, but it's strong enough to still wear as is. One small section where the stitching has come undone.
-One area of slight fade to the front hip, see photos, and a couple of tiny pin prick holes and one slightly larger spot of wear in the same area, see last photo. One fray hole to the back of the shirring. All shown in photos.
Priced accordingly and sold as is. Please see all photos.
