Handmade 50s novelty skirt in navy blue cotton. Artistic print of horse drawn flower carts and silhouette of people. Warm green, orange, yellow, white and brown colours. Skirt has a fitted waistband with concealed popper buttons to the back to fasten. Soft full fit, sewn in small gathers to the waistband. No labels, definitely a handmade piece.
Pictured with a petticoat which is not included in the sale.
Not labeled with a size but fits approx a UK6-8 or a 25" waist. Please refer to the measurements.
Length: 27.5" (short hem so can not be let down)
Good wearable condition but a little bit as is with some visible flaws and priced accordingly:
-Some streaky fade to the cotton, some faint sun fade to either side and one slim horizontal fade line to the front. See last 4 photos.
-Slight wear to the bottom of the buttoning at the back, see photo.
-The waistband has a 1" extention where it buttons up, which is a little bit darker than the rest of the cotton, see photos.
