Wide leg sailor trousers, possibly ex-Navy wear. Gabardine wool with a neat lace up design to the back and a no less than 13 anchor buttons to do up the front. High waisted fit and loose cut legs makes these really flattering to wear. Slim fitting over the hips and looser over the thighs. No labels, but these look fairly modern, it's quite a standard Navy design, I've had almost identical pairs go through the shop dating from the 40s through to the 90s. I think these are more contemporary, but they look very 40s/50s on.SIZE
Not labeled with a size, but fits like a L-XL/volup, but please refer to the measurements. I would advice leaving a little bit of room for movement, maybe an 1" in waist and hip for it to fit comfortably.
Clipped to fit the model.
Waist: 36" (as there is no stretch, you might want to leave a little bit of room for movement.
Hip: 41" at 8.5" down from waist
Hip: 47" at 11" down from the waist
Inner Leg Length: 30.5"
Leg cuff measures just under 12" across (24" approx in circumference)
Thigh measures 14" flat across, approx 28" in circumference
Very good condition.
