Thick heavy 40s overcoat in a lovely warm hazel brown coloured wool. Double breasted chest with four large shank buttons to the front. Big collar and strongly padded shoulders. Nicely fitted silhouette with a nipped in waistline and slightly skirted full design towards the hem. Big patch pockets with curved flaps to the hips, both with matching buttons. Lined in a beige/sand coloured light rayon. Lining is quite light but the other wool is very thick, so this is suitable for colder weather. Label is Ena Trever and coat also has a Double Eleven / Dinner plates utility label to the side seam. Gorgeous coat, very elegant but also so snug!
Please note colour is best represented in the model photos (my old lights had a slight yellow tint)SIZE
The coat is not labeled with a size but fits approx like a Small to Medium. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.
Fit on model: slightly clipped in waist
Shoulder to waist: 16.5"
Sleeve from underarm to cuff: 17"
Sleeve from shoulder to cuff: 24.5"
Shoulder to shoulder: 16"
Good condition. Looks like the sleeves have been relined, as the lining material is slightly different. Some small moth grazes scattered about the wool, all of these are superficial, no holes, just small spots that have lost the fuzziness of the wool pile. See photos. Makers label is a little bit discoloured.
