40s Louis Musman, New York, zip front dress in silver and black shiny rayon with contrasting big velvet dolman/batwing sleeve. V-neck with small collar and front zip down to the hip. Fitted waist, which probably originally came with a matching belt, but wears beautifully with any black belt. Skirt is a generous flared a-line shape, cut on the bias in four panel to create a chevron effect to the front seam. Lightweight and unlined.
Dress is pictured with a petticoat which is not included in the sale.

Chest: to fit approx 32-34" (due to the batwing sleeve this is hard to measure, I would say it measures approx 38" but the batwing is meant to fit loosely so it fits much smaller when worn)

CONDITION
Good condition. Presents very nicely. Some discreet wear and repair:
-One tiny darn on the cuff. One small repair to the corner of the collar on the shoulder. One tiny fray on the shoulder. A couple of tiny pin holes in the skirt, All shown of photos.
-Very slight discolouration to the inside of the collar.
-Missing the original belt.
