Absolutely fantastic 40s novelty dress by Terri Green Juniors. This is just too good! Brown rayon with a yellow, cream and light green print of deer and flower bunches with lillies of the valley. Bodice is fitted and has bands of sewn in ruching to either side of the waist. High rounded neck with a tiny v-dart in front. Short sleeves with strong padded shoulders. Waist is fitted and the dress has a draped peplum -esque hip design in what feels like grosgrain in plain brown. This curves around the back and finishes in a huge bustle-y bow to the backside. Very gently a-lined skirt. Back metal zipper fastener.
The dress is not labeled with a size but fits approx like a Small. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.
Waist: 26-27" (bias cutting to the bodice gives slight give)
Shoulder to waist: 16.5"
(There is a 1.5" hem on this)
Good condition, presents beautifully. Some teeny tiny little marks and flaws on close examination but none of these detract or are that noticeable when worn:
-Very slight underarm discolouration, but this is too slight to show when worn, see photo.
-Some faint marks to the front waist, where there is also one tiny hole, see photo.
-Some very very slight marks on the peplum, shown in photos, and one tiny little pin hole by the corner of the neck. These are very slight and all pretty much negligeable when worn.
