Early 60s cotton day dress in a vivid purple, light blue, green and mustard print of colourblock rectangles interspersed with flowers. Fitted sleeveless bodice with a high square neckline with small darts sewn in to either corner. Fitted waist with a matching belt with covered buckle. Full skirt. Side zipper fastener. No labels, possibly handmade.
Dress is pictured with a petticoat which is not included in the sale.
The dress is not labeled with a size but fits approx like a Small. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.
Chest: measures 37" but fits much smaller due to the neck pleats, so I would recommend for a 34-35" chest
Shoulder to waist: 15.5"
(There is a 1.5" hem on this)
Good condition, still very wearable, but does have some flaws and is priced gently to reflect this.
-There are a few scuffs and small holes to the skirt, see photos.
-Two fairly discreet linear seam repairs to either arm hole, see photo.
-I think the zipper may be a replacement, it's an early nylon zip, 60s or 70s, which has been handstitched in.
Priced down to reflect condition and sold as is.
