Adorable bright floral summer dress by Carnegie - it's a symphony. Sweet light yellow and white stripe and frame print with small white flowers. Fitted empire bust with high square neck and sleeveless design. Waist is enhanced with three pleated bands, cleverly using the stripes of the fabric for effect. Skirt is full and unlined. Back metal zipper fastener. Lightweight poly-cotton blend, very very slightly sheer. Approx late 50s / early 60s era.
Dress is pictured with a petticoat which is not included in the sale.
The dress is not labeled with a size but fits approx like a Small. For your best fit please refer to the measurements. This has quite a high bust/underbust so please make sure to check the shoulder to underbust measurement too!
Fit on model: doesnt zip up to the back of the bust
Chest: 36" (best fit smaller, I would estimate a 33-34" chest))
Shoulder to underbust: 10.5"
Shoulder to waist: 14.5"
Shoulder seam to shoulder seam:
Sleeve from underarm to cuff:
(There is a 1"hem on this)
Very good condition. It looks like the side seams of the bodice have been let out ever so slightly and I also think the shoulder seam has been adjusted, though neither of this is noticeable when worn.
