50s dress by Baker Sportswear "Budgets". Deep blue with a semi abstract impressionist floral print in pink and green. Fabric is a crisp but still quite soft nylon. Sleeveless bodice with a v-neck with folded collar. Waistband is fitted and the skirt very full, sewn in small pleats to the waist. Side metal zipper fastener. Comes with a matching belt. The nylon is non-sheer.
Dress is pictured with a petticoat which is not included in the sale.
The dress is not labeled with a size but fits approx like a Medium. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.
Shoulder to waist: 16"
Good condition. Presents nicely. Some minor issues, not very obvious when worn:
-Belt is quite worn, the belt pin is a bit rusted and the belt backing material is coming away slightly in places.
-Arm openings and hem have been resewn at some point, both finished with a rolled edge and tiny neat handstitches. Not particularly noticeable unless you are inspecting the inside of the dress.
See last two photos for details.
