Glorious bold red 50s party dress in lace and satin. Dramatic silhouette with a sweetheart bust trimmed with satin and thin satin shoulder straps. Beautifuly fitted bodice with nipped in waist and a dropped princess waistband with wide satin ribbon trims over the hip and back. Front panel of the dress is cut in two pieces which run down from the bust, whereas the skirt is sewn in gathers over the hip giving it a beautiful full fit, perfect for wearing over a petticoat. Skirt is lined in red acetate. Back metal zipper to fasten. No makers labels.

Very good condition.
-Slight discolouration to the satin under the arms, not too noticeable when worn.
-Straps are handsewn in inside and there is also some slight seam straining to the lining, neither is visible when worn.
