Lovely bright little 50s Horrockses dress in crisp cotton. Light blue stripes with white bands with small black and yellow flowers. Bodice is cut on the bias with a seam down the front, creating an almost chevron striped effect to the pattern. Wide v-neckline. Waistline nips in and the skirt is very full and is sewn in small pleats around the waistband. Concealed pockets to the hip. Back metal zipper fastener.
Dress is pictured with a petticoat which is not included in the sale.
The dress is labeled a vintage size 14 but fits approx like a Small or a modern day UK8-10. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.

Good condition with some things to note:
-There is a slight bit of fade to the cotton, slightly more so to the front of the waist and the bodice than the skirt.
-One small patch repair to the side of the underarm. See photo.
-One tiny pin hole just above the waistband in front.
-Hem looks like it has been altered at some point, though dress still has a generous length.
