Jantzen cotton swimsuit from the 50s in a smart dark check print of olive greens, deep blue-purple, brown and vibrant turquoise. Nicely fitted bodice with curved seams to the bust and a low cut classic 50s hip. Back is completely shirred. Straps attached to the back of the front and hooks on at the back. Bust is lined in cotton.
The swimsuit is labeled a size 40, but fits approx like a modern day Large, approx a UK14, but please refer to the measurements.

CONDITION
Good condition. Shirring has been replaced. Gusset lining is unmarked but shows a little bit of light wear. Boning to the bust has been removed and the boning bands are fraying a little bit, but none of this can be seen when worn.
