Striking silver lurex / metallic trousers with firm stretch and fantastic curve hugging fit. Perfect high waist and slim fitting down to the ankle. Handsewn on black sequin striped bands. Back zipper to fasten. Approx 50s/early 60s era.
Labeled a size 11-12 but fits approx an XS-S. (I can fit in to these, but are quite tight for moving around. I would advice for the lower end to somewhere in between the measurements, I don't think this would comfortably fit someone with the max stretch measurements.
Waist: 25" stretches to a tight 28" (best fit somewhere inbetween or lower end of measurements)
Hip: 34" stretches to approx 39-40" tight (best fit somewhere inbetween measurements)
Inner Leg Length: 22.5"
Outer leg length: 34"
Thigh width: approx 10" flat / approx 20" stretches to 24" tight in circumference
Leg cuff: 5.5"/ approx 11" in circumference stretches to about 12.5" tightly
Exterior is in very good condition, no flaws to note. But turning these inside out, there are some faint reddish foxing/spotting marks/discolouration around mainly the ankles. I've washed the trousers three times and have spot treated, so trousers are clean even if the marks remain and it doesn't detract as it can't be seen on the outside when worn.
