Beautiful black crepe 30s bias cut dress with long peplum hip tier. Deep v-neck to with tie detail on back. Shoulders have gathered stitching. Seamed underbust and fitted waistband with popper fastened matching belt. Skirt is bias cut with triangular insets to the hem to create a kind of kick flare. Please note, this has no fasteners, so has to pull over the head. There is a bit of give in the bias, but it is quite snug to get into.
SIZE
The dress is not labeled with a size but fits approx like an XS. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.
Fit on model: as shown, very snug!
Chest: 30" to 32" stretched
Underbust: 29" to 30" stretched
Waist: 27"
Hip: can stretch up to approx 38" maxi (as it is bias cut, the more it stretches, the shorter the skirt length will sit - I would advice for around 35-36" )
Shoulder to waist: 15.5"
Length: 51" on the hanger, length will depend on how it stretches, but I would say it is approx mid-calf length when worn)
(There is a very short rolled hem on this)
CONDITION
Good condition but does have some signs of wear and repair. There are a few tiny pin holes in the crepe, which doesn't show up much. There are also a couple of patched areas at the underarms. hides well in the print. One small damaged bit of the piping by the neckline and small darn just by the bottom of the v-neck. And a few small signs of wear and three darns on the hem. Slight wear also to piping trim to the shoulder and arm hole. See photos.
