Black 50s novelty border print skirt with dancing ladies with maracas and male drummers in green, red, cream and blue. Very large print with a smaller drum pattern around the hem. There are also small mule drawn carts and palm trees around the upper part of the pattern. The colours makes me think Mexican, but could also be Cuban. Fastens to the front with big red buttons and has a high fitted waistband with a interlacing cord design in red. No labels, but looks commercially made.
Skirt is pictured with a petticoat which is not included in the sale.

CONDITION
Structurally good and strong condition. Some fade/colour issues: Black has some fade, little bit more so in the pleats at the top and print is a bit subdued/murky and less bright than would have been originally, specially noticeable to the lighter colours, the whites and the skintones, which are a tinged in grey. A few tiny marks and a couple of small scuffs in the cotton. Please see photos. Priced to reflect.
