Dark pink tiered lace ruffle party/prom dress. Strappy boned bodice with a shelfy bustline with small ruffles and sweetheart bust. Boning goes down all the way to the natural waist, and the waistband is subtly dropped with a dipped v-design in front. The skirt is full and sewn in ruffled tiers all the way down. The lace ruffles are sewn on to a layer of mesh, and this has an additional layer of mesh underneath and then a synthetic red lining and underneath that a white canvas cotton petticoat with ruffled hem, so this has a really lovely shape wether worn with a petticoat or without. Back metal zipper. Label is Chanelle. Approx late 50s / early 60s era.
Dress is pictured with a petticoat which is not included in the sale.

CONDITION
Good wearable condition. Not perfect, and priced to reflect, but still a fun little party dress.
-There some small holes in the lace, the ruffles and tiers are quite forgiving and the holes are usually so tiny, it's not too obvious. The lace is also backed with mesh so structurally strong. There are a few on the bodice too. I've tried to show some of this in the photos, but obviously not possible to show every single hole, as there is so much lace!
-The straps have been resewn on at the back, and also show a bit of wear where they attach to the front.
-The red lining has some small marks, but this can't be seen when worn. Kind of look like soap sud residue, nothing untoward!
It's not perfect and priced to reflect this but still wears really well.
