Beautiful handsewn kimono robe in a light silky fabric in a soft jade green with Asian floral print in lighter green, blush pink, pale blue and brown. Square kimono sleeve and loose drapey fit. Lined in plain cream. Not sure of fabric content, possibly rayon. No labels.
This is completely handsewn and unlabeled so I'm finding it hard to date. The style is reminiscent of 20s-40s kimono dressing gowns made for the Western audience, it's genuine vintage and a lovely piece, but as it is quite a traditional style and make, hard to pin point the era, I would hazard pre-60s.
SIZE
The dress is not labeled with a size but fits approx like a free size, as it is a loose fitting robe it would work for a range of sizes, specially when worn open. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.

CONDITION
Good condition. Not perfect but still presents well.
-There are some slightly loose stitches to the construction as it is largely handsewn, specially on the side seams and to the sleeve seam where it attaches to the robe. See photos.
-There are also a few small scuffs and marks in the fabric and a small repair, where it looks like a snag has run by the side seam on the waist approx.
-There are some tiny bleach like spots to the lower part of the hem. There is also some slight mottling to the edge of the placket by the neckline, with one small mark in the same are, this could be hidden under the placket when worn though. Two small marks by the side seam, in the same area as the repaired snag. One mark on the chiffon lining. I have handwashed this twice and what's left has not lifted, but is fairly discreet when worn
Priced low to reflect. Please see all photos.
