Sweet little late 50s or early 60s cotton day dress by London label Norman Young. White, grey and pink print with little cloud like flowers. Bodice is sleeveless and has a wide rounded neck and a really lovely asymmetric buttoned design with three large semi-translucent buttons. Waist is nipped in and comes with a wide matching belt in pink. Skirt is sewn in in wide box pleats which gives it a lovely full fit when worn with a petticoat. Back metal zipper fastener.
Dress is pictured with a petticoat which is not included in the sale.
The dress is not labeled with a size but fits approx like a Small. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.
Chest: 37" (might best fit slightly smaller as the cotton has no stretch)
Shoulder to waist: 14.5"
(There is a 2.5" hem on this -1.5" could be let down easily by unpicking the hem)
Very good condition except for the belt buckle with shows some fraying, fade and glue marks. It also has a tiny fray to the inside of the third belt hole.
skirt has been taken up slightly but original hem is still there so could be unpicked and let down again.
