I love this one, it is so simple but so versatile and easy to wear. Late 50s check / plaid pattern day dress in a lovely autumnal colourway of olive green, dark brown, white and blue. Sleeveless bodice with a high rounded collar to the neck. Buttoning all the way through the front. Small nipped in waistline and a lovely full skirt which falls in small neat pleats. Fabric feels like cotton. I'm getting slight Audrey Horne vibes from this one, would look fab with bobby socks and patent shoes.
Dress is pictured with a petticoat which is not included in the sale.
The dress is not labeled with a size but fits approx like a XS. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.
Shoulder to waist: 15.5"
(There is a short hem on this so it can not be let down further)
-There are three small holes on the shoulder, see photograph, and I found a further tiny hole just above the waistband which I missed when photographing. These are all very small, so does not detract when worn.
-I think this has been rehemmed at some point in it's life and let down slightly. The current hem is finished with bias binding and handstitched.
