Lovely little 50s pencil dress in a spring/summery citrusy light green with white polka dot print. Fitted bodice with a high square neckline and short sleeves. Natural waistband nips in and there is a more accentuated dropped waistband to the upper hip which incorporates two slot pockets to either side, to the back of the dress this drops into a slightly lower V-design with a small bow to hook hon. Straight cut skirt with two back pleats by the zipper, creating a subtle bustly effect. Back metal zipper to fasten. No labels. Not sure of the fabric content, this feels like it could be a cotton-synthetic blend, fairly lightweight, very slightly slubby in texture. Unlined.
The dress is not labeled with a size, but fits approx a general size XS-S, approx a UK8 in my estimation. Please refer to the measurements for your best fit.
Dropped waistband: 28"
Hip: 38" (I think this would best fit a 36-37" hip to keep the pleats intact to the back.
15.5" approx from shoulder seam to natural waist
17" approx from shoulder seam to dropped waist
Very good condition. The printed white polka dots are a little bit cracked/loosing colour in places. One small repair to the side seam by the waist, not visible on the outside when worn.
