Lovely and bright little 50s sun dress in a vivid coral orange-red colour with a small floral print in yellow, blue, green and lilac. Flattering shelfy bustline with fitted underbust adorned with a little bow in front. Thin twin spaghetti straps in yellow cotton which cross on the shoulder. Waist nips in and the skirt falls in small gathers with a lovely fullness, very close to full circle, but not quite. Side metal zipper fastener. No labels.
Dress is pictured with a petticoat which is not included in the sale.
The dress is not labeled with a size but fits approx like a Small. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.
Chest: 33" (a little bit of hard to measure fullness to the bust)
Shoulder to underbust: 12"
Shoulder to waist: 15.5"
(There is a tiny hem on this so it can not be let down)
Very good condition. Only thing to note is that this has been rehemmed, it has been let down very slightly (there is the faintest crease line just above the current hem, hardly noticeable) and the current hem has been finished with a running stitch. It's neat, so I don't think this is very noticeable or detracts when worn. There is also some tiny tiny signs of ghost stitching on the bottom of the straps, where these were either lengthened or shortened at some point, but this is not noticeable when worn.
