Bright sunny yellow late 50s or early 60s day dress. Lovely silhouette with a very full skirt that falls in gathers from the waistband. Nipped in waistline with a matching grosgrain snap button belt. Sleeveless bodice with a rounded neckline and a grosgrain and broderie anglaise ribbon design down the centre front with a little bow to finish off the neck. Back has a lower cut v-neck with a conceled metal zipper and a row of decorative buttons. Fabric feels like a very crisp slightly stiffened/thicker cotton blend. No makers labels.
Dress is pictured with a petticoat which is not included in the sale.
The dress is not labeled with a size but fits approx like a Small. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.
Chest: 36" (best fit slightly smaller)
Shoulder to waist: 14.5"
(There is a 3.5" hem on this)
Good condition with some small marks to the skirt, shown in last photo.
Belt looks like it may be missing a buckle?, not sure, but it still works fine buttoned on.
