Very elegant dress set by Kitty Copeland. Slim fitting slate grey dress with beautiful features and a matching cape! Cape is about underbust length and fastens to the front with a single button, It has decorative buttoned flaps on the shoulders and is fully lined in a russet acetate. Dress itself is such a timeless piece, beautifully fitted and sleeveless with a square neck with a slot through panel where a ribbon/scarf or bow can be inserted. Bust and waist is darted and there are cross over straps to the underbust which can be fastened with a belt buckle at the back, to further cinch the silhoutte in. Midi skirt with long back vent for movement. Dress is unlined and fastens with back metal zipper. Approx 60s era, but very New Look inspired.
