Great versatile autumn cape by Wetherall, Bond St. Soft fine woven wool with a reversible design, one being a solid lemon yellow with a slightly coarser woven texture, whereas the reverse is a very fine brown, yellow and cream plaid in a finer weave. Double breasted design with collared neck and brown woven piping trim to placket, collar and arm slits. Fastens on the plaid side with small plastic shank buttons and loops and on the yellow side with buttons and ornate frog loop fasteners. Approx70s era. Beautiful and vibrant.
SIZE
Not labeled with a size but fits approx like a S-M, I think this could suit anywhere from a UK10 to a UK14 depending on how much room you prefer. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.
Fit on model: as shown
Coat is 39" long.
Approx 54" around the front/bust - I would estimate to best fit a 35-37” bust
Front panel measures 18" across from arm opening to arm opening
Approx 16.5" from shoulder to shoulder
CONDITION
Good condition. There are some tiny areas of wear and slight graze spots in the wool on the plaid side, but all in all not very noticeable when worn, please see photos. Three small darns on they yellow side, one near the hem, one on the shoulder, both very discreet, also shown. Slight wear to the collar fold crease, where some small darns has been made on either side, but due to where they are they hardly show when worn.
