Elegant 40s dress in black rayon crepe with lovely period details. Overlapping draped v-neck bodice with strong padded shoulders and half sleeves. Gorgeous sequin shoulder embellishment with a red, green and gold bouquet with bow. Fitted waist with attached straps that can cinch the waist in. Straight cut skirt with colourblock pleat drape to the side with panelling in yellow, red and olive green rayon. Side metal zipper to fasten. No labels, but remnant of old tag to neck, so commercially made.

The dress is not labeled with a size but fits approx like an XS. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.

CONDITION
Good condition.
-Presents beautifully but does have signs of alteration, a black panel in more modern fabric has been added next to the stripes on the skirt, the three coloured stripes are original to the dress, but the black panel is a later addition, most likely to give a bit more room to the skirt.
-Slight bit of wear underarm with some slight pilling to crepe, but this doesn't really show when worn. Slight fraying to the edge of the waist strap where it is stitched on to the bodice.
-Small patch repair to the top of the zip, not that noticeable when worn.
