Fun and very unusual pritn 40s dress in a soft cream rayon jersey with a pretty amazing print of little cherubs/cupids with big black fans and bushy little blue clouds. Shirt style bodice with cap sleeve and padded shoulder. V-neck with slim collar. Four small covered buttons to fasten the chest. Top sewn waistband with small gathers at the sides to give a bit of fullness and blousey-ness to the bodice. Skirt is straight cut with some wide pleats for a soft fullness. Side seam fastens with a metal zip. No label.

The dress is not labeled with a size but fits approx like a Small. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.

CONDITION
Good condition.
-Some tiny pin sized dots of wear and faint pen tip sized marks on the bodice by the placket, all very slight. Some slight discolouration to the underarm but this is very minor and the dress has a very unusal design with a pleated fold with an inset panel to the side seam which the pit area hard to see when worn. There is some very faint yellowing to some of the pleats, I've tried to photograph but very hard to show as so faint.
-Buttons are a little bit discoloured.
-Tiny repair to the back shoulder, see photo.
-Hem is handsewn so could have been altered, hard to say.
-Missing the original belt.
