40s original dress in black soft rayon with a sweet pink butterfly print with little daisy style flowers in pink, yellow and white. Blousey bodice with a low U-neck and short sleeves with strong padded shoulders. Fitted waist. Straight cut midi length skirt a peplum overlay and waterfall side drape design. Side metal zipper to fasten. No labels.

CONDITION
Good condition, a little bit as is, but still very wearable. The black is a little bit faded throughout with some very very faint spots of colour-mottling, but all in all this is quite slight, not super obvious. Some slight alterations: there are two small dart/folds sewn into the back of the waistband to take this in slightly, these look like they could easily be taken out without leaving any visible trace. The hem has been let down 3" leaving some faint signs remaining where the old hem was and the bottom 3" are a slight shade deeper black than rest of the dress, but I don't think this is easy to see when worn as it's quite slight.
