Really fantastic fine blue wool 3 piece skirt suit / dress set. Fine slightly stretchy ponte knit in a deep midnight blue. Blousey top/jacket with collarless neck and long sleeve with turn up cuffs and strong padded shoulders. Fitted waist band with popper to hold in place and matching buckled belt. Slight flared peplum to the jacket hip. But what steals the show is the truly fantastic buttons, such a fun quirky 40s design with metal loops and little decorative bell shaped hooks with chains. Comes with a matching a-line gored skirt with metal zip and fitted waistband which buttons with poppers. Gently flared with midi length. Both pieces are unlined. Label is Kahn of Minneapolis.

CONDITION
Very good condition. Three tiny pen tip sized small darns on the tip of the placket of the top just by the edge of the hem, and four similarly tiny darns by the side seam of the hip, neither shows very much when worn, see photos. Maybe a handful of tiny darns beyond that, all pen tip or needle point size or smaller, so really hardly shows and doesn't detract, specially as all in pretty discreet places. Presents beautifully.
