Lovely vibrant 50s Mexican tourist jacket in bright green wool felt fabric. Beautifully embroidered and applique designs to the front and back and sleeve cuffs. Larger motif of a couple in traditional Mexican dress to the back, with Mexican in sequins to the ladies skirt. Really beautifully made with 3D braids and bows to the ladies hair and the gent's shawl tassles. Collared neck and open cut front with edges sewn in wool yarn. Long sleeve with slightly ouffed shoulders. Label is Lopez. Made in Mexico. Handmade, pure wool.

Very good condition. Some small signs of wear, a couple of very tiny darns and a couple of small areas of broken stitches to the red and white wool yarn on the placket.
