Beautifully weight wool crepe late 40s dress in a olive / greeny-grey shade. Simple and versatile, but really elegantly made with elaborate detailing - the pointed bust seams and waist darts are such a nice unusual pattern design. Collarless v-neck. Long dolman sleeve with button detail on the cuff. Fitted waist with matching cinch belt with covered buckle. Full skirt with sewn down box pleats to the upper hip, which open up into a swishy fullness. Side metal zipper to fasten. No labels but I think this was commercially made.
Dress is pictured with a petticoat which is not included in the sale.

Good condition.
-Three tiny darns to the skirt, due to the fullness this won't be noticeable when worn, one tiny pen tip darn under arm and one just above the waistband. See photos. Slight repair to top of zip. Belt backing is made from really fine soft leather, which has cracked and broken a bit around the button holes, see photos.
