50s/60s party wiggle dress in sparkling white all over sequins. Lovely fitted cut with a sleeveless bodice and a wide scoop neck in the front and a plunging v-back. Nipped in waistline and fitted hip with straight cut knee length skirt. Metal zip to fasten. Lined in cream acetate. No labels. Quite thick fabric in two layers, one mesh/net and a synthetic backing, with the sequins sewn on to both.
Dress is pictured with a petticoat which is not included in the sale.

CONDITION
Good condition. Lining has a little bit of discolouration and a few small marks and slight age spotting. Slight wear to the sequin and mesh overlay at the shoulder seam. Looking at the lining I think this had a dart added to the neck historically and this has been unpicked and restored. Doesn't show on the outside, but visible ghost stitches and small fray to the lining. All in all presents well on the outside, the wear is mainly to the lining so not visible when worn.
