Exceptional Horrockses Fashions 50s dress with a stunning print and the most classic 50s silhouette with a huge full skirt. This is just such a treat - just incredible, both cut and design. White cotton with a gorgeous toile de jouy print of country side settings and little shepherdesses in the countryside. Beautiful fitted bodice with a low cut v-neckline and short slightly puffed sleeves with buttoned cuffs. The waist is nipped and has a little concealed hook and loop to secure. The skirt is massive, such a lavish sweep - so much volume! Small pale blue buttons does up all the way through the front. Perfection!

CONDITION
Very good condition.
There is one small repair to the back of the neck, almost invisible on the outside but you can see the small handstitching internally.
Hem has been taken up but original hem is still intact underneath and the length is very generous as is regardless, but could be let down further if desired.
Some very very slight signs of stitches to the side seams of the bodice where this has been let out slightly, really barely shows and won't detract when worn.
Most likely came with a matching belt which is no longer present.
