Beautiful classic 50s shirt waist full skirted cotton dress in a soft light brown colour with black pin stripes and daisy -esque flowers in white, red, green and grey. Bodice fastens with three small buttons to the chest and has a collared v-neck. Short sleeve. Fitted waist with a matching belt. Full midi skirt sewn in narrow pleats. Side metal zipper to fasten.
Dress is pictured with a petticoat which is not included in the sale.

CONDITION
Good condition with some signs of wear and alteration:
-Some signs of alterations: hem has been taken up and restored back at some point, leaving the slightest crease (not fade) line. Side seams have been let out slightly and the side zipper has been resewn in. There is some internal signs of the darts having been altered and some of the pleating is a slight bit uneven, not perfectly neat, but this is quite minor.
-Buttons possibly replaced. One small darn underneath the bottom button, can't be seen when worn. Also some slight reinforcement stitches to the button holes.
-Some small nicks in the belt edge and one small machine darn to the edge of the belt near the buckle.
-Some very slight shoulder fade, see photo.
