Silky lightweight shirt dress by Fred Rothchild oof California. Dark painterly fabric in violet blue, purple, green and black with a semi-abstract floral-esque print. Blousey draped bodice with three small covered buttons to the chest and a collared neck. 3/4 sleeves with big turn up cuffs. Fitted waist and very full skirt sewn in neat pleats with two centred bigger box pleats to the front. Very nicely sewn with darted shoulders to the back and raglan sleeves. Really lovely construction.
Dress is pictured with a petticoat and a belt, neither of which is included in the sale.
