Gorgeous early 60s floral dress by "Wendy". Soft light cream cotton with a really large bold dark purple and violet rose and carnation print. The cut is beautiful with a high empire bustline designed with a fold over neckline with a plain lilac panel underneath, and a matching bow below. Short sleeve and low scoop neck in the back. Waist is sewn in multiple darts which open up just at or above your waist and flares out into a full-ish midi skirt. Back metal zipper to fasten. Skirt is lined in a canvas petticoat.

The dress is not labeled with a size but fits approx like a Small, and shoulder to bust is quite short, so best suit someone with a higher bustline or a petiter bodice length For your best fit please refer to the measurements.

CONDITION
Very good condition. Slight straining to lower part of the darts, at the waist. Hem has been taken up and restored back to original length, leaving a slight line about 1" up from current hem, see photo.
