Early 80s Droopy and Browns by Angela Holmes "Homespun" dress in beautiful weighty cotton and a rich blue colour. Wrap bodice with v-neck and half sleeve with turn up cuffs. Lightly padded shoulders. Snug fitted waist that cinches the silhouette in and a showstopping full skirt with generous midi length. Sooo much fabric, and so drapey and swishy. The skirt also features concealed slot pockets to the front hip. Back nylon zip to fasten. For those of you unfamiliar with the label Droopy and Browns produced really goregous high end garments, often inspired by historical fashion, during the 70s-80s. They are such elegent and timeless pieces. The skirt on this one is truly beyond.
