This is one of the most exceptional floral 50s dresses I've had, a truly spectacular pink rose print Horrockses Fashions. Beautiful finest quality cotton with bands of dark pink and grey roses contrasted with lighter dusky pink bands with fine line drawn thorny roses. Fitted bodice with back buttoning and a high square neckline. Short sleeve with triangular underarm gusset. Bodice is sewn in three horizontal panels to keep the print to the lighter pink and the neck in the darker rose floral band for contrast - I'm such a fan of this kind of use of print in the design - such a lovely attention to detail. Skirt is a generous midi length and as with all Horrockses a truly lavish amount of fabric - so full Matching slim waist belt to fasten.
Dress is pictured with a petticoat which is not included in the sale.
